Community Events in May
Northridge trails is planning two events for May and we would love to see familiar faces and meet some new folks too.
May 10- Neighborhood Clean-Up
Last year was so successful we want to make this an annual event!
It’s our 2nd annual neighbors clean-up day. City of Greeley will provide orange trash bag and trash pickers for us to clean up our neighbors and the trails and green areas nearby. Then they’ll come collect all the trash. Last year we filled around 30 bags and made the neighborhood look great.
Trish will be in her driveway from about 1-1:30 handing out materials, then will arrange for the city to pick up the trash and will return the trash pickers when we’re done.
Not only is this a great way to keep our neighborhood beautiful but it’s also a great way to meet your neighbors.
May 17- Neighborhood Progressive Happy Hour
It’s been a while, so it’s time to bring back this fun event. May 17 we will start at one house in the neighborhood and about every hour we will meander to the next house. Hoping to have five hosts. Currently, Claire, Eli, and Trish have volunteered to host.
Come to one house, or come to them all. Have a drink or a snack or nothing at all. Just a great opportunity to spend time with the people you live close to.
We haven’t worked out the house orders yet because I’m hoping to get another host or two. Please reach out with any questions.
Thanks for helping to make Northridge trails the best, friendliest, and cleanest neighborhood around!
